“Good breakfast and excellent location, right across from Theresienwiese. If you're visiting Oktoberfest and just need somewhere to sleep and freshen up, this fits the bill. Munich is a beautiful city with plenty to see.”

“Good value for money — great for a three-day stay. It's a small old building with thick walls and high ceilings, furnished with older pieces that could use some repair but give it a vintage, almost romantic charm. Most rooms are on the ground or second floor. The location is convenient, right in front of Theresienwiese, near the bus stop and U-Bahn/S-Bahn. Breakfast is substantial: vegetables, fruit including watermelon, boiled eggs, sausages, pancakes with cottage cheese, pickles, lightly salted salmon, several cheeses, cold cuts, yoghurt, muesli, four juices, and a variety of pastries and bread. Hot drinks are limited to black coffee in thermoses on each table — no tea, black or green.”

“Nice hotel with a convenient location, about a 20-minute walk to the centre. Breakfast is great and delicious — definitely book it. The hotel has a vintage style and daily housekeeping with fresh towels. They initially gave us a triple room on the ground floor with windows at ground level, but after we asked, they moved us to another ground-floor room. There's no hotel parking; you can park near the hotel from about 6 euros, or find free parking 3–5 minutes' walk away, to the right past the intersection. Friends recommended this place and we weren't disappointed.”

“Ideally located for Oktoberfest and about 2 km (25 minutes on foot) to the city centre. Great breakfast with fruit and fish, and the internet works well. Staff were responsive — they gave us a kettle and tea cups on request. The hotel has Munich maps in Russian, which helps Russian-speaking visitors. There's public parking nearby for 6 euros per day.”
